Sealing is essential to maintaining healthy granite countertops, vanities, floors and surfaces. granite is a porous material. The right sealer will penetrate into the pores of the granite to fill them and create a barrier to prevent oil, water and other liquids from getting inside, while still allowing the granite to breathe and expel moisture vapors. It's the most effective way to protect any granite surface from harmful oils and undesirable staining without affecting the natural beauty of the granite.
